UCD Post-Doc Lvl 1, UCD School of Medicine, Temporary 24 months

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Medicine.

Applications are invited for a 2-year full-time (with a possibility to extend) Taighde Éireann - Research Ireland-funded Postdoctoral research position under the supervision and direction of Dr Dearbhaile Dooley at UCD School of Medicine and UCD Conway Institute of Biomolecular & Biomedical Research. 

By using both in vitro and in vivo techniques, the successful candidate will investigate the behaviour and interactions of heterogeneous glial populations that inhabit the SCI lesion site. Candidates will have excellent current knowledge of the literature in the field; maintain accurate and comprehensive experimental records with excellent attention to detail; assist in preparing presentations and reports as required; maintain laboratory equipment and facilities, and other duties associated with the research project, of an occasional nature, which may be assigned by the Principal Investigator, Dr Dearbhaile Dooley. 

Salary Range: €45,847 - €52,339 Per Annum 

Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
