Maynooth University School of Business’ Mission is focused on developing critical thinkers and creating impactful knowledge for our community. We are seeking an excellent candidate to join our staff in the School of Business as a Research Assistant to provide research and support for this vibrant and highly productive academic department.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine research and technical expertise—particularly in software development—to support the objectives of the NEXSYS project, funded by Research Ireland. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative digital solutions that align with the strategic goals of the School of Business, IRESI, and Maynooth University.
The role involves close collaboration with university systems and processes to ensure that the solutions developed meet both operational and strategic needs. In addition to technical delivery, the candidate will be expected to provide input on research-driven solutions, actively supporting the advancement of the NEXSYS project and enhancing the university’s broader research and innovation agenda
Research Assistant (Level 1) Salary: €32,962 (1 point)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
