RESEARCH SUPPORT OFFICER – ADMIN. – SENIOR ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN, INFANT RESEARCH CENTRE

12 Months, Specific Purpose, Whole-time Post

Position Summary

INFANT is now accepting applications for the post of Research Support Officer Admin- Account Technician.  The Accounting Technician will play a central role in supporting the financial management and administration of the INFANT Research Centre at University College Cork.  This position involves financial reporting, budgeting, procurement processing, and compliance with regulatory and funding requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with research teams, UCC finance personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient financial operations of the centre.

This duration of this post is 12 months pending completion of the organisational finance transformation.

We are looking for a progressive, forward thinking Senior Accounting Technician to join the INFANT team and wider finance community, with a dotted line of reporting to the Head of Research Accounting in the Central Finance Office, with the possibility of direct line reporting in the future.

Project Title: Various INFANT projects

Post Duration: 12 Months

Salary: €55,000 p.a. (Personal rate)
