The Purpose of the Role
To provide full clerical/administrative support and customer service to line managers, colleagues, staff, and students to ensure the smooth running of all the operational activities Academic Registry on a day-to-day basis.
Context
The Academic Registry (AR) supports the student administrative lifecycle from Applications and Admissions, Student Finance, Record Management, Examination Management, Graduation ceremonies to managing day to day queries through our Service Desk in the Watts Building.
The Academic Registry is seeking to appoint an Executive Officer to the Applications and Admissions team. The Applications and Admissions team are responsible for the processing of applications to Trinity across Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Study Abroad programmes as well as overseeing admission policies and decisions. This role will be assisting the processing of incoming Erasmus and Study Abroad applications as well as providing support to the larger Admissions team when required.
The role will include dealing with day-to-day Applicant, School, Partner and Agent queries and actioning general administrative tasks for stakeholders across the university such as assessing application documents, maintaining detailed records, keeping up-to-date databases and spreadsheets and following up on application decisions with school coordinators.
The role-holder will work as part of the Erasmus and Study Abroad team reporting directly to the Erasmus and Study Abroad Admissions Manager. They will have responsibility for delivery of excellent customer service across platforms and other administrative duties to assist in the smooth execution of the team’s objectives. They will provide support to management, staff and students as required while providing a professional, efficient and welcoming service to all visitors to the Academic Registry.

Qualifications
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent – essential.
• Diploma or professional qualification – desirable
