The Purpose of the Role
Applications are invited to apply for the position of Events and Membership Manager, focusing on the Learning Technologies sector. This is a highly collaborative role, working in a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic environment.
This is a key position to sustain Learnovate’s continued growth in our membership and the number of companies partnering with us in applied industry led research to shape the Future of Work and Learning. This role will be responsible for significant membership campaigns and will be an integral part of the Centre’s commercial team, reporting to the Head of Membership Services.
The successful candidate will lead the delivery of the Centre’s events programmes, as well as supporting the development, coordination, and administration of the organisation’s membership engagement and communication activities. The post holder must be highly organised with strong attention to detail, an excellent communicator, and have the capacity to turn their hand to new challenges and skills. They will need to be experienced in organising event logistics, managing event administration, liaising with senior level members/customers, and delivering against time-sensitive project plans. The successful candidate will also be experienced in event promotion and digital advertising across multiple channels, converting expressions of interest to attendance. The role will involve the continuous improvement of documentation of strong processes to operationalise and standardise events planning, and associated activities and execution will be a requirement of the post.

Person Requirements
Qualifications
● Primary degree in Business or Marketing with a track record in event management. (Essential)
● A postgraduate qualification (Diploma/MSc/PhD) in a relevant subject (Desirable)
● Project Management experience (Desirable)
