Postdoctoral Researcher (Specified Purpose Contract) Department of History / Maynooth University

We are seeking an excellent scholar to join a project team led by Prof. Raul Cârstocea, who has been awarded a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant for a project entitled Insurgent Temporalities: Fascism as a Global Anti-Universalist Project (INTEMPO). The postdoctoral researcher will be part of a team undertaking a novel analysis of fascism during the interwar period and the Second World War, understood as a global phenomenon. They will engage in archival research, co-organise the activities of the project and contribute to the publications ensuing from them, and co-lead with the PI one of the work packages of the project, as detailed below. They will have the opportunity to develop their research, both individually and as part of a team of ambitious scholars.
