Salary: This appointment will be made on the Executive Officer Merged Salary Scale (€33,191 - €51,203 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
The Purpose of the Role
The appointed individual will join the team in the administrative office providing support across all administrative functions for the department including recruitment, personnel management, procurement, financial management, facilities, and reception/telephone duties.
Context
The successful candidate will work as part of a small team in a busy and dynamic environment to provide administrative support for the department. The post-holder will have a variety of duties within the office, including being the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors. It is essential that the post-holder delivers an efficient and professional service while also creating a welcoming atmosphere. This is an onsite post and not suitable for blended working. This is a varied and challenging role in a fast-paced environment, demanding much initiative, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage many priorities. The appointed candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be flexible and self-motivated, and have the capacity to develop this exciting role as required. The person appointed will report to the Office Administrator. Confidentiality and discretion are paramount in this role.

Qualifications
1. A third-level qualification or equivalent work experience (essential).
2. A recognised IT orsystems qualification or experience (desirable).
3. A recognised secretarial or office administration qualification or experience (desirable).
