Applications are invited for a permanent post of an Analyst x2 within UCD/Medical Bureau of Road Safety. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for a number of Analyst positions at the Medical Bureau of Road Safety. Following interviews, a panel will be formed from which future opportunities may be offered. The Medical Bureau of Road Safety has statutory responsibilities for the chemical testing for intoxicants in driving and related functions. To analyse the specimens received under the Road Traffic Act. To support the provision of equipment for taking of such specimens. To support the forensic integrity of the evidential breath testing instruments located in Garda stations nationwide by testing the instruments both in the Bureau and in the stations. To support the forensic integrity of the roadside breath screening devices issued to the Gardaí by performance testing them on a regular basis. Salary: 95 Biochemist\2013 (7933) €43,892 - €72,938 per annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 13/08/2025.
