Media & Communications Manager (0.5FTE)

College of Medicine & Health

Permanent Part-Time Post (0.5FTE)

UCC wishes to appoint to the role of Media & Communications Manager.  Reporting to the College Manager,  The primary focus of this role is to support the Head of the College of Medicine and Health in communicating the College’s strategic messages, impact, and achievements both internally and externally. The post holder will be responsible for creating effective and impactful communication campaigns, leveraging superior stakeholder management skills to engage with key stakeholders across the College, University and beyond. Reporting to the College Manager (with a dotted line to the University’s Director of Media and Communications), the manager will help raise the College’s profile and connect with key audiences.  The post holder will work closely with the Office of Media & Communications, the College Marketing and Event’s manager, the College Team and across the 6 constituent Schools.

Appointment may be made on the Admin III Salary Scale:  €59,663 - €71,234 (Scale B) / €56,807 - €67,785 (Scale A) (pro-rata).

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
