Title of Post: Post Doctoral Researcher (Level 1) in AI-supported Code Generation and Cognitive Processes/Models
JOB SYNOPSIS
The successful candidate will be a team member within Lero (the Irish Software Research Centre). Their primary responsibility will be to work on the Lero-funded ABCD project (AI-Based Code Development) to identify and improve upon the state-of-the-art in terms of best-practice pedagogy for AI-supported software development. They will determine the current state-of-the-art with respect to the cognitive models formed by developers as they develop/evolve code and identify their associated information needs. They will assess how AI-supported software development impacts upon those cognitive models/information needs and derive best-practice pedagogy for educators in the field.

Salary Scale: €45,847- €52,339 p.a. pro rata
