Title of Post: Research Fellow in Best-Practice AI-Supported Code Development (2 Positions)
JOB SYNOPSIS
The successful candidates will be senior team members within Lero (the Irish Software Research Centre). Their primary responsibility will be to work on the Lero-funded ABCD project (AI-Based Code Development) to identify and improve upon the state-of-the-art in terms of pedagogy for commercial, AI-supported software development. They will identify current state-of-the-art approaches in pedagogoy and practice through extensive literature reviews and through feedback from a network (they derive) of software-developing practitioners/third-level educators. Subsequently, they will assess the approaches identified empirically in terms of (efficiency, software quality, developer-experience and developer advancement), towards possible refinement and optimization, disseminating their work in both academic and grey-material fora.

Salary Scale: €65,237 - €71,085 p.a. pro rata (maximum starting salary €69,078 p.a. pro rata)
