UCD Research Assistant, Mechanical & Materials Eng, 18 months

Applications are invited for a 18 months post of a UCD Research Assistant within Mechanical & Materials Engineering. UCD is seeking to appoint a talented and motivated Research Assistant to conduct process optimisation and evaluation a nucleic acid extraction kit, specifically on the project entitled "A novel Nucleic Acid eXtraction technology - NAX". The project is funded by an Enterprise Ireland award and involves collaboration between Dr. Jaythoon Hassan and Professor Michael Gilchrist. Research Assistant Salary: €33,291 - €43,372 per annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
