Engaged Research Manager, UCD School of Med/Systems Bio, 2 year

Applications are invited for a Temporary 2 years with possibility for extension post of a Engaged Research (Public Engagement & PPI) Manager - SBI/POI within UCD School of Medicine/Systems Biology Ireland. We are seeking an experienced senior manager to lead the development and coordination of an ambitious, integrated approach to public and patient engagement and involvement in precision oncology research. The successful candidate will be based at the Systems Biology Ireland (SBI) Centre in University College Dublin (UCD). Working across a national network of academic, clinical, charity and industry partners, the senior manager will play a key leadership role in shaping a cohesive strategy that embeds inclusive engagement and involvement across all aspects of the Precision Oncology Ireland (POI2) programme research lifecycle. A core component of this role, will be to lead the development of the POI2 Education and Public Engagement (EPE) Framework, support the POI2 EPE Committee, and embed EPE and Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) as a mindset and culture across all POI2 partner institutions. Salary Range :€70,100 - €97,700 Per Annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
