Hours of Work: 35 Hours per week
Post Summary
A 4 years Postgraduate Research Studentship is available to new entrants on the full-time PhD register for entry in September each year. Applicants must have received a minimum of 2.1 Honours degree to be eligible for the award. The postgraduate studentship aims to support and develop gifted research students and is awarded competitively on academic merit. It fully covers EU or non-EU fees and provides an annual maintenance of €25,000.
Applications investigating topics within national strategies and/or the School research agenda are particularly welcome. You may select your own topic but you can also choose from the following school expertise:
Research Centres:

• Trinity Centre for Ageing and Intellectual Disabilities (TCAID)
• Trinity Centre for Practice and Healthcare Innovation (TCPHI)

• Older persons health & well-being
Applications will be scored according to the following criteria:
• Quality of research proposal - Background and originality, aims and objectives, methodology and methods
• Relevance to School’s Research Agenda
• Academic support for the Applicant
• Review of Educational Preparation, References and Career Development
