Postdoctoral Researcher /Research Associate-Biostatistical analysis of acute ischemic stroke clot pathology, Physiology, School of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences, University of Galway 011431
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time, fixed term position as Postdoctoral Researcher within Physiology, School of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences at the University of Galway, Ireland and associated with the Centre for Research in Medical Devices (CÚRAM). The project, which runs for three years runs in collaboration with colleagues in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, Industry partner J&J Medtech and clinical collaborators across Europe and Asia.
This position is funded through Research Ireland (CÚRAM) and is available immediately for 2.5 years.

Salary: Postdoctoral Researcher salary scale €46,305 - €59,063 per annum, (subject to the project’s funding limitations), and pro rata for shorter and/or part-time contracts.
The default position for all new public sector appointments is the 1st point of the salary scale. This may be reviewed, and consideration afforded to appointment at a higher point on the payscale (subject to the project’s funding limitations), where evidence of prior years’ equivalent experience is accepted in determining placement on the scale above point 1, subject to the maximum of the scale.
