Governance and Quality Systems Officer

Title of Post: Governance and Quality Systems Officer

 

JOB SYNOPSIS

The Corporate Secretary's Office (CSO) is a central function responsible for Governance, Risk Management, Legal Services, Compliance (including FOI and Data Protection), and oversight of the University’s Visual Arts collections. The Governance and Quality Systems Officer will have a key role in implementing existing governance processes as well as putting new ones in place to enable the University to comply proactively with all governance requirements to which it is subject. There is also a significant strategic advisory element to the role, whereby academic and professional support units across the University consult the Office in relation to their legal, regulatory, governance and policy obligations. The Governance and Quality Systems Officer will be a strong writer and communicator, capable of consistently producing high-quality documentation working with confidence, demonstrating initiative, precision, and a strong sense of responsibility in delivering clear and well-structured content. They will be a thoughtful contributor with a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous quality improvement. The postholder will also contribute to the management and coordination of staff within the Governance Team, supporting a culture of professionalism, accountability, and service excellence.

Salary Scale: €69,190 - €111,133 p.a.
