UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering The Centre of Micro/nano Manufacturing Technology (www.mnmt-dublin.org) has been established at the University College Dublin (UCD) to deliver high-impact, innovative science and engineering research since 2016. MNMT- Dublin has particular focus on instruments development and high precision manufacturing combined with optical and bio-medical technologies applied in optical image, visual optics, and bio-medical implants. The Centre brings together a multi-disciplinary team of over 20 PhD and Post-Doc researchers in manufacturing engineering, instrumentation and optics, in fundamental and translational research. PD1 Salary Scale: €46,805 - €53,391 per annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. The PD1 position is intended for early stage researchers, either just after completion of a PhD or for someone entering a new area for the first time. If you have already completed your PD1 stage in UCD or will soon complete a PD1, or you are an external applicant whose total Postdoctoral experience, inclusive of the duration of the advertised post, would exceed 4 years, you should not apply and should refer to PD2 posts instead.
