SENIOR POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCHER School of Medicine/ The National Perinatal Epidemiology Centre (NPEC)
UCC wishes to appoint a Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher to the School of Medicine/NPEC. As a Senior Post-Doc the responsibilities will include supporting the design, coordination, and delivery of perinatal research and national clinical audit programmes to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes. The role involves assisting in the development of research proposals, ensuring compliance with ethical, regulatory, and data protection requirements, and liaising with clinicians, researchers, and maternity units nationwide. It also includes managing and analysing perinatal data, contributing to national reports and publications, and conducting literature reviews to inform evidence-based practice. Additional duties include supporting quality improvement initiatives, maintaining research databases, preparing reports and briefing documents, and facilitating stakeholder engagement.
