JOB SYNOPSIS

The Corporate Secretary’s Office is the University’s central hub for governance, compliance and institutional assurance. It provides independent, University wide oversight across governance and statutory compliance, Legal Services, Information and Compliance (including Data Protection and Freedom of Information), Risk Management and the University Curator. The Office supports the Governing Authority and its committees, manages key statutory and regulatory obligations, maintains governance frameworks and policies, and ensures the University operates with integrity, transparency and accountability in line with legislative requirements. Within this environment, the Executive Administrator plays a pivotal role in enabling the effective operation of the Office. The postholder will deliver high quality administrative, secretarial and governance support to the Corporate Secretary; coordinate communications and correspondence; support committee servicing; maintain governance registers and compliance documentation; uphold rigorous records management standards; support governance software; and ensure effective task flow across the Office’s functions. This role offers a unique vantage point on the University’s affairs and the opportunity to work in a fast paced, high standards environment where experience gained is widely recognised as valuable and career enhancing.
