Title of Post: Teaching Assistant in English

 

JOB SYNOPSIS

The school is seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant in English, specialising in long nineteenth century and twentieth century literature in English. The successful candidate will be expected to make a substantial contribution to teaching in English literature. This post is for a ten-month period from 24 August 2026 to 30 June 2027.

Salary Scale: €38,890 p.a. pro rata

"A Teaching Assistant post in the University of Limerick operates as a training contract. The duration of the contract is limited to 10 months. However, it may be renewed for one further period only not exceeding 10 months. Applications will only be considered from individuals who have not already received two Teaching Assistant contracts”
