The School of Microbiology at University College Cork invites applications for the post of Research Assistant. The game-changing development of LargeLanguage Models (LLMs) necessitates an urgent redesign of current continuous assessments in postgraduate bioinformatics teaching. To address these challenges, we here propose to develop both LLM-resilient and LLM-integrated coding-based assessments, which will promote academic integrity conceptual understanding and AI adaptation aligned with real-world bioinformatics workflows. The aim of this 3-month half-time [0.5 FTE] RA position is to complete a SATLE-funded project to enhance the integrity and authentic learning in postgraduate continuous assessment of bioinformatics.
