Senior Library Assistant - Collections, Cataloguing & Metadata

Title of Post: Senior Library Assistant - Collections, Cataloguing & Metadata

 

JOB SYNOPSIS

The Senior Library Assistant, Collections, Cataloguing & Metadata works in the Cataloguing & Metadata team to deliver accurate, standards-based metadata that maximises discovery, access and use of UL Library collections for teaching, learning and research. The post combines specialised technical work with supervision of a Library Assistant and ownership of defined workflows and projects in a strongly customer-focused, team-based environment. The role will also support the integration of digital workflows, automation and AI tools to enhance cataloguing and metadata processes and service delivery.

Salary Scale: €41,240 - €55,831 p.a.
