Lec Assistant Prof in Biomolecular Science, UCD,Temp 5 year

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Biomolecular Science within UCD School of Biology & Environmental Science. Candidates should ideally have proven teaching and research interests in using biochemistry, molecular biology, or biotechnology approaches to understand fundamental cellular processes or disease mechanisms. Experience in bioinformatics, microbiology and in developing or applying contemporary omics approaches would be a strength. This is a 5-year academic post in the School of Biology & Environmental Science (SBES) at University College Dublin. 95 Lecturer / Assistant Professor (below the bar)\2010 Salary Scale: €65,401 - €103,564 per annum. Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 5th June 2026.Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
