JOB SYNOPSIS

ChromWatch BCS is an innovative platform technology to remove key bottlenecks in biopharma manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced full stack developer to join our development team, with the view to potentially joining the commercialisation spin-out. The role will lead the design and delivery of production-grade .NET Core and WPF applications for real-time PAT in biopharma. You will collaborate with scientists and industry partners to commercialise this cutting-edge analytics platform which will transform manufacturing.

Salary: Assistant Librarian salary scale: (Assistant Librarian 2: €51,297 to € 62,875 pro per annum; Assistant Librarian 1: € 60,239 to € 71,884 pro per annum) (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011) The relevant salary scale will be determined based on candidate’s experience and in accordance with the terms and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the QA321 University’s Remuneration & Payroll Policy. 

This appointment will be made on the Assistant Librarian 1/2 in line with current Government pay policy.

MEDICAL EDUCATION UNIT, SCHOOL OF MEDICINE

24 Months, Fixed-Term, Whole-time Post

 

Position Summary

The Medical Education Unit, School of Medicine UCC is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Researcher to work on a Health Research Board funded project. The project is an interdisciplinary collaboration with partners in the health and higher education sectors across Ireland. The research focuses on educating healthcare professionals to address the planetary crisis in their daily practice. Individual studies include literature reviews, large-scale survey, interview/focus groups studies, co-design, consensus building, implementation and evaluation studies. 

 

These posts are suitable for newly qualified PhDs in areas such as health professions’ education, sustainability education, health services research, public health, psychology, sociology, etc. Experience of realist methods is an advantage but training in specific methodologies will be provided as required. 

 

Further opportunities for professional development will be provided by the UCC Post-Doctoral Development Hub. The Post-Doctoral researchers will be part of a team of six full-time research staff and a part-time research administrator under the supervision of Professor Deirdre Bennett. Key duties and responsibilities are outlined below. This post requires an on-site presence at UCC. UCC Remote Working Policy will apply.
