The Role
The Governing Body is now seeking to appoint a non-executive Chair of the Governing Body. Through leadership of the Governing Body, the Chair plays a central role in the effective governance and strategic oversight of the University.
The Person
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate evidence of leadership and expertise at a senior level in a large and complex organisation and experience of chairing high-level, strategic board and committee meetings. In addition, the candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work constructively with others, as well as commercial and financial acumen. The successful candidate is also expected to have an understanding of and commitment to TU Dublin’s culture, vision and values.
