The Purpose of the Role
Trinity’s Inclusive education work programme, funded by the Higher Education Authority’s PAth4 Inclusive Curriculum Fund, aims to mainstream inclusive and accessible teaching and learning practices across all Trinity curricula. The position of the role of Academic Developer: Inclusive Curriculum offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design, development and implementation of Trinity’s work programme for embedding inclusive teaching and learning and universal design for learning (UDL) principles and practices within Trinity’s educational offerings.
Context
The Centre for Academic Practice is a central unit within Trinity Teaching & Learning (TT&L) which is focused on advancing and enhancing excellence in teaching, learning and assessment by fostering a university-wide culture of teaching excellence grounded in scholarship, critical enquiry and collaboration. Working closely with College Academic Officers to align academic practice to institutional, national and international priorities, the Centre leads a range of strategic teaching and learning initiatives, while embedding the broader role of teaching & learning in the institutional change agenda.
Reporting to the Head of the Centre for Academic Practice, the position of Academic Developer: Inclusive Curriculum offers an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation of Trinity’s comprehensive initiative for integrating inclusive teaching and learning and UDL principles and practices across all Trinity Curricula.

The role-holder will require the following knowledge, skills and attributes for successful performance in the role.
Qualifications
• Ph.D., or Doctorate in any subject
• Qualification in teaching and learning
