CASA Programme Officer

The Purpose of the Role 

Trinity College Dublin is seeking to appoint a CASA Programme Officer, reporting to the Global Mobility Manager, Trinity Global. This role will be funded by the Consortium for Advanced Studies Abroad (CASA) and so it also has a reporting line to Brown’s Office of Global Engagement, which co-administers the CASA Dublin program with Trinity. 

The primary focus of the role will be supporting the CASA study abroad programme at Trinity including student advising, working with partner universities to support partner led student recruitment, application support, programme planning, programme reporting and supporting the CASA partner universities on a day-to-day basis. The role will be a key contact point for the CASA consortium central management team, Brown University, CASA partner universities and current/prospective/past CASA students.

The Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement (Trinity Global), working with colleagues from across the University, is responsible for the following: • enhancing our global reach through the development of strategic partnerships • delivery of global mobility opportunities for students 2 • ensuring an inclusive and diverse student community as well as excellent international student experience, as well as • the promotion of the University globally. Trinity Global works closely with Trinity Development and Alumni, Schools and our colleagues across the University to deliver the objectives of the University’s Strategic Plan 2025-2030. 

The CASA Programme Officer will work within the wider Trinity Global Office, the function of which is to support the development of Trinity’s profile and strategic partnerships abroad and recruit high calibre international students to study at Trinity. The CASA Programme Officer will liaise closely with many stakeholders across the university including: 

Internally 

• CASA Programme Administrative Officer 

• Global Mobility Manager 

• Associate Director, Partnerships and Global Mobility 

• Colleagues on the Global Mobility team 

• Colleagues on the Trinity Global Experience team 

• Relevant colleagues in the Academic Registry 

• Relevant colleagues in Trinity’s Accommodation Office 

• Academic staff in Schools and Departments across the University 

Externally 

• Brown University colleagues, and the CASA central management team 

• University partners and prospective partner universities 

• Third party suppliers (events and excursions)

 

Person Requirements 

The role-holder will have the below detailed qualifications, knowledge and experience, skills and personal attributes needed for successful performance in the role. 

Qualifications

• A third level degree in a relevant discipline or relevant professional experience.
