The Purpose of the Role:
The School of Social Work & Social Policy (SWSP) invites applications for the position of a full-time Global Officer and Communication Manager.
The School’s Global Officer and Communications Manager will coordinate and contribute to strategic internationalisation initiatives, student recruitment, the development and maintenance of international partnerships, and support inbound and outbound student mobility in addition to promoting events, courses and other school initiatives across college and externally. They will facilitate the interactions between the Office of the Vice-President for Global Engagement and the School. They will report to the School Manager. They will also work closely with the School’s Director of Global Engagement.

In line with the University’s Global Engagement Strategy, Trinity is continuing to expand its activities to strengthen and develop its position as a leading provider of international education in an increasingly competitive environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to assist in the diversification and international student recruitment strategies of the School and the University. This will involve a collaborative approach working across a number of areas and teams. A strong customer-focus is required in managing enquiries from prospective international students regarding studying at Trinity College Dublin and moving to/living in Ireland together with the provision of ongoing support.
The candidate will also be expected to work closely with course directors, college marketing and communications, development and alumni, and both internal and external stakeholders and providers to promote school courses, awards, events, news items and other matters that are relevant to the communication and marketing goals of the school.
Qualifications
Third-level qualification at degree level ideally in subject area relevant to the role.
