Manager, Food Industry Training Unit

University College Cork wishes to appoint to the role of Manager, Food Industry Training Unit, School of Food and Nutritional Sciences within the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science. As the Head of the Food Industry Training Unit, the Manager will take strategic responsibility for the Unit, including ensuring its financial viability, relevance and leadership position in continuing education and training in the agri-food and seafood sector.
The Manager will continue to foster national and international relationships with training and commercial stakeholders and funding agencies, and will work closely with the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences and with food sector experts across the University to ensure continued provision of excellence in training, effective operations and best management practice.

Appointment may be made on the Admin I Salary Scale: €83,341 - €110,109 (Scale B) / €80,711 - €104,602 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
