Post-Doctoral Researcher/ Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher Sustainability Institute/MaREI

Post Doctoral Researcher – The Researcher would primarily contribute to the delivery of the TALX2 project but would be expected to contribute to across a number of climate change projects as part of the MaREI Centre. The TALX2 project is an Environmental Protection Agency funded project, focusing on the creation and advancement of transboundary place-based climate adaptation partnerships on the island of Ireland. This position offers the opportunity for an ambitious climate and social scientist with a background in climate adaptation/resilience and stakeholder engagement, to join this exciting partnership and make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of these projects.
Senior Post Doctoral Researcher - The researcher would primarily lead research on the TALX2 project but would be expected to provide expert input across a number of climate change projects as part of the MaREI Centre. The TALX2 project is an Environmental Protection Agency funded project, focusing on the creation and advancement of transboundary place-based climate adaptation partnerships on the island of Ireland. This position offers the opportunity for an ambitious climate and social scientist with proven expertise and experience in climate adaptation/resilience and stakeholder engagement, to join this exciting partnership, provide leadership and ensure the effective delivery of these projects.
Achievement of the expected progression within Post Doc and Senior Post Doc is transferable between the Irish HEI’s. This can be reflected in the starting pay of a PD researcher. Similarly, as the PD scheme is an intergenerational training scheme completion of PD1 or PD 2 levels in one HEI will normally render that researcher ineligible for appointment at a similar level in another Irish HEI Researcher Career Development Framework | Irish Universities Association
