Research Assistant Department of Archaeology

The Department of Archaeology is inviting applications for the position of Research Assistant based in UCC. The successful candidate will work closely with the PI on the analysis of grey literature reports, managing and proofing large datasets and compiling data.
Applicants will preferably have a Postgraduate degree in Zooarchaeology and experience working with grey literature reports. Evidenced skills in analysis of archaeological stratigraphic and zooarchaeological reports is essential. Attention to detail and experience in managing and integrating large complex datasets is likewise essential as is training in Bayesian sample assessment methods.
The post is based in UCC and requires the successful candidate to work closely and in person with the PI. Driver’s license desired.
