Senior Research Co-ordinator (Programmes Manager) - UCC Sustainability Academy.

24 Months Specific Purpose, Whole-time post

 

The UCC Sustainability Academy is now seeking a dynamic candidate for the key position of Programmes Manager (Senior Research Co-ordinator) to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of relevant Sustainability Academy programmes and to manage and ensure full implementation of the Units’ policies and procedures, and to engage effectively with our key stakeholders and funders. The Senior Research Co-ordinator is a key position within UCC Sustainability Academy. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of the Unit to contribute the development and implementation of strategy, practices, programmes, delivery of KPIs, reporting and the development of funding proposals and tenders. As a member of the team, the Senior Research Co-ordinator will be expected to contribute to the development and implementation of Sustainability Academy strategy and to contribute to business development. The Senior Research Co-ordinator will also play a key role in the implementation of the Unit’s reporting schedule of relevant programmes ensuring that the scope and timelines are on schedule and comply fully with mandatory requirements.

The Senior Research Co-ordinator may be asked to support other aspects of the Sustainability Academy’s work when relevant and the appointee will be expected to have a flexible approach in this regard. The ideal candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic, very organised and capable of managing a heavy and diverse workload. They will be able to work under pressure and be able to effectively manage many competing demands simultaneously.

Salary: €72,000 p.a. (personal rate).

 

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
