Applications are invited for a temporary part time post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in General Nursing within UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems. The School wishes to appoint a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Nursing to contribute to teaching, curriculum design and enhancement and academic administration on the School's undergraduate and graduate-taught General Nursing programmes, and to work with clinical personnel and other external partners in supporting student learning and curriculum review and enhancement. In addition to teaching and administrative duties, the post holder will engage in research and scholarship in the discipline and will contribute to the development of the School's research agenda. Based on level of prior experience, the post holder will be expected to assume leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Dean and Head of School. 95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €65,401 - €103,564 Per Annum Pro Rata @ 0.5FTE .Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 6th May 2026.Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
