Lect/Asst Prof in Creative Writing, Temp 5 years, 0.5 FTE

Applications are invited for a Temporary 5 years, Part-Time 0.5 FTE post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Creative Writing within School of English.

Applications are invited for a 0.5 FTE temporary appointment for five years as Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Creative Writing in the School of English, Drama and Film. Applicants must be established and experienced writers with a strong record of publication and be able to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in this rapidly developing area in the school. The post requires expertise in the writing and teaching of prose fiction in particular, and we are also interested in applicants who could contribute to at least one other area of writing expertise.
Salary: 95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) €64,112 - €101,524 per annum (€32,056 - €50762 per annum, Pro rata 0.5 fte)
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
