Applications are invited for a Temporary 24 months post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Medicine. The UCD The UCD Centre for Human Reproduction is a progressive interdisciplinary research centre based at The Coombe Hospital, driving clinical and translational research to advance care in the areas of women’s health, pregnancy and neonatology.
The Centre is seeking a post-doctoral research fellow to provide expertise for a secondary data analysis project. The project focuses on understanding the socio-economic drivers of cardiovascular disease risk to improve long-term population health. The research fellow will work as part of a multidisciplinary team investigating the geographic, demographic, clinical, social and economic distribution of cardiovascular risk in a maternity population.
This is a research focused role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.
The primary purpose of the role is to further develop your research skills and competences, including the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications, the development of funding proposals, the mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching. . Postdoctoral Researcher 2017 Level I - 7097) Salary Scale: €46,305 - €48,896 Per Annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
