Research Engineer, School of Electrical Eng, Temp 12 months

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Engineer within UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering We are looking for a CMOS RF/mixed-signal circuit designer to contribute to the development of RF Integrated Circuits (RFICs) for our project on low-power transceivers for 5G applications. This project focuses on designing mm-wave transceivers for the 28GHz/39GHz 5G bands. The goal is to design a low-power and wide-band oscillator and, subsequently, a frequency synthesizer that supports both the 5G bands incorporating aggressive power-scaled Tx/Rx for battery-operated portable devices. Fixed Salary: €55,000 per annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
