Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Scientist within UCD School of Information and Communication StudiesThis position is within an ERC Consolidator project led by Dr Lai Ma (Principal Investigator - PI). The project is a 5-year study of the development of open research infrastructure and transnational knowledge flows (SCRiBe). The project will focus on the conceptualisation of open in the open access movement by identifying boundaries and constraints that hinder the growth of `local' knowledge and knowledge sharing across regions. The central question framing the project is: what is the relationship between standards, geopolitics and transnational knowledge flows in our understanding of openness? Fixed Salary: €54,965 Per Annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
