Research Scientist, UCD Business, Temporary 12-month post

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Scientist within UCD School of Business. The successful candidates will work under the direction of Professor John Cotter. Applicants should have a background in Finance, Financial Economics, FinTech, Sustainable Finance, Computer Science or related disciplines. This role places a strong emphasis on machine learning applications in asset pricing and corporate finance, alongside traditional econometric and factor modelling techniques. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating all data-related activities, supporting early career researchers, and leading the FMC Cluster's reading group, fostering a collaborative research environment Salary: €40,000- €70,000 per annumAppointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 03/10/2025Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
