Senior Power Systems Researcher, UCD, 24 months

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Senior Power Systems Researcher - Real Time Simulation and Hardware in Loop within UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.Applications are sought for a Senior Power Systems Researcher position to support research work relating to the development and laboratory testing of distributed energy resources in the context of energy communities. The position will be based in the UCD Energy Institute and UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The UCD Energy Institute is a multi-disciplinary energy institute with a focus on energy research and its translation to policies and impacts that address the challenge of decarbonisation.Salary: €54,000 - €59,000 per annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 16/09/2025.
