Teaching Fellow in Education, UCD, Temp Part-Time

Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Teaching Fellow in Education within UCD School of Education. The School of Education at University College Dublin seeks to appoint a Teaching Fellow - Education to support the Professional Master of Education (PME) programme. This temporary role will focus on the professional formation of pre-service teachers through tutorials, subject methods teaching, and supervision of school placement. The postholder will work as part of the PME teaching team, delivering high-quality learning support, contributing to assessment, and developing teaching resources. They will liaise with partner schools to ensure effective communication and high-quality placement experiences, engage with students in group and individual settings, and provide constructive feedback to foster reflective practice. While encouraged to maintain scholarly engagement with teacher education, the role does not carry independent research expectations. Fixed Salary: €48,000 Per Annum Pro Rata @ 0.6 FTEClosing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 23/09/2025. Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
