The increasing popularity of sourdough bread has emerged as one of the most significant bakery trends in Ireland in recent years, driven largely by its distinctive flavour, and by consumer perception of it as a healthier alternative to white sliced bread. However, the health benefits of sourdough bread remain unclear. Recognising this gap, Aryzta will work in partnership with UCD and Teagasc to explore how different bread processing methods impact human health.PD1 Salary: €46,305 - € 52,863 per annumAppointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 03/10/2025.Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
