JOB SYNOPSIS
If you are seeking an academic career in an inspiring, research-intensive institution, the new Associate Professor position in the Department of Chemical Sciences at the University of Limerick (UL) is the place to further your ambitions in biopharmaceutical research. The Department is seeking an academic with expertise in digital tools applied to pharmaceutical sciences to join an ambitious and collegial departmental team of ~30 academics. Leveraging existing facilities and research initiatives, the new Associate Professor will drive research and teaching across digital drug discovery and pharmaceutical formulation at the University. They will provide academic leadership in pharmaceutical sciences, aligning with, and ensuring the continued growth and development of, existing research initiatives in this field at the University, including the Bernal Institute (www.bernal.institute.ie) and SSPC, Research Ireland's national centre for pharmaceuticals whose central operations is housed in the Bernal Institute (www.sspc.ie)
