JOB SYNOPSIS
The post of Category Specialist is an essential role in carrying out public sector procurement operations at the Education Procurement Service (EPS). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a career in a professional procurement environment, embracing new challenges while supporting EPS's strategic goals and objectives as the Education sector's sourcing hub and Central Purchasing Body (CPB) in the public sector. The Category Specialist will be given the opportunity to build commercial awareness and knowledge of procurement, delivering results that meet client requirements and deliver on quality, savings, value for money and compliant sourcing solutions. They will be given responsibility for the preparation of tender documentation and other duties throughout the sourcing process stages that will help build their knowledge of Category Management in the public sector. The Category Specialist will work as a team member and be given the opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions in delivering client requirements.

Salary Scale: €46,710 - €61,970 p.a. pro rata
