Title of Post: Post Doctoral Researcher (Level 1) in Biotherapeutics
JOB SYNOPSIS
The position is in an RI funded ARC Hub on Therapeutics. This position is in a Team whose focus is to develop the immunomodulatory enzymes (IMEs), PrtI and PrtV, from Lactobacillus sp., as topical treatments for inflammatory skin diseases:
(see https://patentsgazette.uspto.gov/week48/OG/html/1528-4/US12150976-20241…) We will delivery Proof of Concept (POC) of efficacy in preclinical models with a focus on Atopic Dermatitis (AD) The demonstration that IMEs are efficacious anti-inflammatories will provide a new generation of treatments for, first, inflammatory skin diseases and potential other immune-mediated disorders.

Salary Scale: €46,805 - €53,391 p.a. pro rata (maximum starting salary €47,405 p.a. pro rata)
